Beer Counter
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 29 June 2026
Your privacy matters. Beer Counter is a fully offline app — no accounts, no servers, no tracking. This policy explains exactly what happens (and what doesn't happen) with your data.
1. Overview
Beer Counter is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device and does not communicate with any external server, cloud service, or third party.
2. Data We Collect
Beer Counter does not collect any personal data. The only information stored is the drink log you create (timestamps and drink sizes), and it is saved exclusively in your device's local storage using Apple's standard mechanisms.
3. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any data to third parties — because we never receive any data in the first place. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash reporting services embedded in the app.
4. Local Storage
All session data (drink records) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data persists between app launches and is removed when you tap Reset or uninstall the app. It is never synced to iCloud or any external service.
5. Permissions
Beer Counter does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive device capability. The app uses only the Haptics API for tactile feedback.
6. Age Restriction
Beer Counter is intended for users aged 18 and older. The app is designed to help adults responsibly track their alcohol consumption. By using this app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce features that change our data practices, this privacy policy will be updated and the effective date below will reflect the change. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
